Sourav to try luck in film

August 18: After blazing the field, the Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly decided to try his luck in the tinsel world. In all probability Sourav will play the lead role opposite his wife Dona in a Bengali film titled Chandramallika.

The leading producer-director of Bengali film Anjan Chowdhury has already finalised talks with Dona Ganguly, who is a reputed dancer, for playing the lead role in the film based on a story highlighting Indian dances.

Chowdhury said that after many requests the smashing left-hander had agreed to listen to the script. "If he likes the script, Sourav may play the role of the hero opposite his wife," Chowdhury said. If Sourav agreed to act in the film the shooting will start by the end of October, the producer added.
