After seven years in the wilderness, the Bengal Tiger -- Sourav Ganguly -- has returned with a bang and is among the top 20 in the world test rankings. Sourav Ganguly is ranked at 20th spot with 657 rating points.

The series also witnessed Sourav score his highest ever Test score of 239 runs in the first innings of the 3rd Test at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

While, Sachin Tendulkar dropped a rung to 19th. On the bowling front, India's Test captain Anil Kumble is relishing his time in charge and the veteran leg-spinner took 18 wickets in the three-Test series to move up two places to fifth in the bowlers list.
