New Delhi: Former India captains Anil Kumble and Sourav Ganguly say they were shocked by the attack on the Sri Lankan team in Pakistan, and that it's hard to digest that cricketers are terror's new targets.
"I called up Muttiah Murlitharan on hearing the news," Kumble told CNN-IBN. "He was very calm. He was in the dressing-room half an hour after the incident... Cricketers are easy targets."
While Sourav Ganguly said, "Well, it's hard to believe sitting back at home. It's hard to imagine what hit the Sri Lankan team in Pakistan. We've been in such situations before. We've been driven down to that place many a times on our tours to Pakistan. And to actually hear that there have been attacked..."
